Saint Maximon's Drawing Water Recipe

Saint Maximon's Drawing Water-

You'll need tobacco or a cigarette (optional but highly recommended)

A non-metal vessel

Confectioner's sugar

Different colors and denominations of coins

Small mirror (optional)

Fresh Basil (dried is optional)

One a Tuesday (preferably) offer some tobacco or a cigarette to Saint Maximon and then make this water to bless your home or business with prosperity and good fortune. Using a non-metal vessel, add coins of various denominations. It's important to use at least one penny. Typically, we abstain from lesser denominations of coins as the coins are representations of the amount of prosperity we want-a higher denomination means more wealth. However, for this we want the nice, rich ashe' of copper and it's conducting properties since we are attempting to open the pathways of prosperity to us and create a circuit of that energy. It's impossible to only have wealth flow continuously IN-some HAS to go out too-but this helps to create an open circuit so the flow is constant. Out but also in. Add your coins to your bowl and a small mirror if you choose. I prefer small square mirrors as the square is a symbol of wealth. To this, add about about a teaspoon of confectioner's sugar-more if your vessel is larger. It should be enough to cloud the water.

Then macerate and add fresh basil leaves and tops. You may use dried if that's all that si available. I'm making sure to do this now because our frost will be coming soon which will kill all the basil plants. Stir this mixture with your dominant hand and set on your altar so the basil can permeate the water. Then take the vessel and sprinkle the mixture at the front door of your place of business, the front door of you home, on your entry way rug, in the corners of your home, in your car-anywhere you make your money or wish for money to flow into. Bless!

An Appalachian Receipt for Prosperity and Business

For Prosperity and Business-
You'll need;
-A little coin purse. The old fashioned ones with the metal clasp on top work best (you can fit more in) but zipper ones work well too. (Meaning-To house your abundance)
-Shiny coins-even the plastic and chocolate ones given for Mardis Gras, Christmas or Chanukah. (To represent prosperity and sweeten your goal)
-Small mirrors. (To multiply your prosperity)
-A larger, free standing mirror or one you can prop up. (To refelct abundance in your home)
-A green candle such as my Po No Mo (To create the daily habit and ritual of bringing light, acknowledgment and focus to your goal)

-An appropriate oil formula such as Business Butter or Money House Blessing
-A few coffee beans. (To energize your working)
-Wrapped, hard candies. (To catch the attention of the Spirits of Attraction and sweeten the working)
Put your coin purse somewhere you'll see it often-the more attention you pay to it the better it works. Add all of your items to the coin purse, set up shiny items around it, such as Money Cowries, and place the mirror so the purse reflects in it. Burn your green candle near it as often as possible-the more attention you give your goal, the more quickly and steadily prsoperous things will happen. Keep an eye out for shiny things and coins to start appearing-any found coins or shiny items should be added to the purse. You can place a plate under the purse if it begins to overflow (I hope it does!). Add a new coffee bean or pinch of ground coffee to the purse to feed it once a week or so. Leave some of the brightly wrapped candies outside in offering to the spirits of Attraction.
Bon Chance and Bless!

Saint Sophia's Feast Day-The Three Fates

Goddess Sophia and her three daughter-The Three Fates-Hope, Charity and Faith came to me in a dream on Saturday. I looked up when her feast day was and it is this Wednesday! I am often visited in my dreams by spirits and deities and I respect and honor these messages dearly and vigilantly. I am holding a feast day vigil in honor of her and her three daughter's on the 17th.

Faith, Hope, and Charity are the three daughters of Sophia, Mother of Jehovah and Goddess of wisdom. They are also known as The Three fates, The Three Graces, and Pistis, Elpis, and Agape, among many other names. During the transition from Pagan Rome to Christian Rome these Goddesses were adapted into martyrdom and thus became saints.

Serving the Fates can bring you great blessings and provide powerful allies. They are known by many names in many cultures. Sors Istennok, "the destiny Goddesses", in Hungarian. The Parcae, "those who spare", in Latin. The Moirae; Clotho the spinner, Lachesis the disposer of lots, and Atropos the inevitable, in Greek. They are known as Urdh, Verdandi, and Skuld in Old Norse.

They are also known as Aglia (radiant), Euphrosyne (joy), and Thalia (flowering) who are companions of Aphrodite. When angered, they are the furies Alecto, Tisiphone, and Magaera. Or simply The Maiden, Mother, and Crone.

In Greek mythology, they are called the three goddesses of joy, charm, and beauty. The daughters of the god Zeus and the nymph Eurynome, they were named Aglaia (Splendor), Euphrosyne (Mirth), and Thalia (Good Cheer). The Graces presided over banquets, dances, and all other pleasurable social events, and brought joy and goodwill to both gods and mortals. They were the special attendants of the divinities of love, Aphrodite and Eros, and together with companions, the Muses, they sang to the gods on Mount Olympus, and danced to beautiful music that the god Apollo made upon his lyre. In some legends Aglaia was wed to Hephaestus, the craftsman among the gods. Their marriage explains the traditional association of the Graces with the arts; like the Muses, they were believed to endow artists and poets with the ability to create beautiful works of art. The Graces were rarely treated as individuals, but always together as a kind of triple embodiment of grace and beauty. In art they are usually represented as lithe young maidens, dancing in a circle.

"Fate" is from the latin word "fatum", meaning "a divine utterance".

Working with the fates is not about working with yet another deity, it is about honoring the biggest power of all, the cosmos. This causes the Fate's to smile upon you and bless you with fortune. It is about accepting the cosmos' ebb and flow around you, seeing their is meaning in everything and that we are connected to everything. They are here to teach us to give, only then we will receive. Honor them and they will bestow fortune and grace upon you. Use this oil for transforming your life and for manifesting your goals and dreams!
